Services include, Catering, In Home Chef services, Party Planning and Coordination, Full-service concierge services. Below are some terms and conditions of all services offered by The Goat on Grand River, LLC;

Policies and Cancellation:

  • Once a sale is processed by cash, credit, debit, ACH, Smart Pay device, or Check, guests understand that no cash refund will be given.

  • In the event of an act of God, weather, or shipping delay based on merchant refunds will be given on a GIFT CARD to be used for a future event.

  • If The Goat on Grand River, or its subsidiaries fail to meet the contract agreement that is within the company's control, the company shall reimburse the client with the written consent subject to company findings and in between 10%-50%, and the remaining 90-50% as Gift Card.

  • If the Company is in breach due to an act of God, weather, or ailment that is beyond our control, the Company shall contact the Client within 72 hours to reschedule the event or offer an alternative option to deliver services. and NO refund will be given.

    Vendor Rental Agreement:

  • Rental items from The Goat on Grand River and its subsidiaries impose the obligation on the client to maintain the contract in their name, including event specifics. Failure to furnish payment and details to the vendor will lead to a $1,500.00 consulting fee charged by The Goat on Grand River, LLC, in addition to the rental vendor payment. Should the rental vendor go unpaid beyond 30 days post-event, a 3% interest charge will be levied, potentially triggering collections or legal measures against the client. Any provision of inaccurate details, non-payment, or inability to fulfill the rental agreement terms will trigger the termination of the client's rental agreement AND FORCE IMMEDIATE COLLECTIONS.

    Payment Policy:

    Payment is due on all store purchases, farmers market purchases, and any cash and carry items sold by The Goat on Grand River and its subsidiaries upon ordering, Customers agree to pay a 3% card fee on any purchases over $999.

    If a client enters into a contract for a specified date, a payment of 50% is due for the event upon booking. As the event date nears within 30 days from the booked day, the remaining payment will be due in full. Failure to make payment within 30 days of your event, without any communication, may result in the risk of cancellation or rescheduling of services.

    Exceptions will be made in the case of an act of God, immediate family loss, or illness, in which services may be delayed to a future date. All contracts and invoices will be maintained by Square, Intuit, Stripe, PayPal, or other designated platforms.

    We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, cash, and checks. If payment is made with a check that is returned, a return check fee of $100 will be applied, and a certified payment will be required.

Meal Service Policy:

When ordering G.O.A.T FRESH, G.O.A.T FRESH Meal prep service, Deli 2 U, or making any EBT purchases, customers are required to select items from the meal program after placing and paying for their order. Failure to make selections within the specified on-site delivery timeframe or by the ordering cut-off times will result in automatic cancellation of the order by The Goat. Any payments processed for the unclosed order will be refunded promptly.

The Goat on Grand River Restaurants SNAP-EBT Policy:

Effective immediately, customers using SNAP-EBT benefits at The Goat Farmers Market may purchase designated take-home meals and deli items from The Cold Deli display using EBT coins. Hot food and ready-to-eat items are not eligible for purchase with SNAP-EBT benefits. Customers are allowed to buy cold/frozen items and beverages available for sale at The Goat on Grand River and its subsidiaries with their SNAP benefits.

For non-SNAP customers, cold deli items and take-home meals may be purchased at the current EBT rate displayed, using an approved payment method.

This policy ensures compliance with SNAP regulations and aims to provide accessible and nutritious options to all customers participating in the program. The Goat on Grand River can only accept Customers SNAP at available and approved Farmers Market Locations.
